Pinnacle knows you’re busy juggling the demands of work and life. That’s why the company offers a variety of virtual care programs to get you the support you need on your schedule. Virtual care is not intended for use in emergency situations but can be a convenient alternative to in-person care.

AbleTo

AbleTo is a free self-care app for employees and dependents covered under the Pinnacle medical plan.

 

  • AbleTo offers clinical techniques to help you deal with stress, anxiety and depression, including coping tools, meditations and guided journeys.
  • The app also offers personalized goal setting and tracking, daily mood tracking and a community that provides support anonymously.

Go to www.ableto.com/begin and enter your medical group number to get started.


Calm Health

Calm Health is a self-care app with programs and tools designed to help support your mental health and well-being. It is available at no additional cost to employees and their dependents who live in the U.S. and are actively enrolled in the Pinnacle medical plan.

 

The Calm Health app provides personalized resources and education designed to help you:

  • Learn techniques to improve well-being.
  • Work toward goals with self-guided self-care programs and progress tracking.
  • Support your mind and body through access to mental health information and support.

To get started, follow the instructions included in the Calm Health FAQ. Be sure to download the Calm Health app, not the Calm app.


Kaia Health

Kaia Health is a virtual therapy program that offers support to those managing back, hip, knee or other joint pain or injury. The digital program gives you coaching and effective physical therapy when and where you need it.

  • Get a program personalized to you.
  • Participate in exercise sessions with no appointment needed.
  • Get real-time feedback on your form.
  • Unlimited messaging with coach or physical therapist.

Talkspace

With Talkspace, get online support for anxiety, depression and other conditions, including substance abuse, eating or compulsive disorders.

 

  • The digital platform offers an effective alternative to in-person therapy with in-app chat, voice and video messaging.
  • Find a therapist with the online matching tool and start therapy within hours of choosing your therapist.
  • Message your therapist any time — get messages back throughout the day, five days a week.
  • Choose face-to-face video visits by appointment, when needed.

Talkspace is available to employees and dependents covered by the company medical plan. Providers are part of behavioral care under your medical plan. Visits are treated like any other outpatient behavioral visit, subject to deductible and coinsurance.

Get started

  1. Register (first visit only) at talkspace.com/connect on your computer.
  2. Select “UHC” as the plan, then click “Get started” and enter your medical plan information.
  3. Once you’re registered, download the Talkspace app from the App Store or GooglePlay on your mobile phone.
  4. Sign in using your email and password.


Teladoc

Teladoc has a virtual care program that offers help to those struggling with a chronic condition such as diabetes, hypertension and weight management, and a program for those wanting to reduce their risk of developing Type 2 diabetes.

 

Teladoc programs give you access to:

  • Monitoring
  • Personalized insights
  • Expert support and more.

The programs are free to those covered by the Pinnacle medical plan.


UnitedHealthcare Virtual Care

UHC Virtual Care allows you to access quality virtual care providers conveniently from the comfort of your home using a computer, phone, or tablet. You can skip the wait for in-person primary, urgent, behavioral and specialist care.

  • The program offers 24/7 access to a provider for common urgent care needs or when your primary care provider is not available.
  • You can also schedule virtual visits with:
    • Primary care providers
    • Behavioral health care providers (psychiatrist or therapist)
    • Specialists (dermatology, women’s health, gastroenterology, migraine care, sleep care, speech therapy)

Go to myuhc.com/virtualcare or the UnitedHealthcare app to register for the Virtual Care Program. Have your health plan ID card, credit card and pharmacy location ready.

 

The cost of virtual visits applies to your medical plan deductible and, once you meet your deductible, the coinsurance portion will apply to your out-of-pocket maximum.
